The Keister Family Tree:

The Keister family connection to the Yinger family of York County, Pennsylvania resulted from the marriage of Catherine Yinger to Henry G. Keister.  Catherine was a daughter of Anthony and Magdalena (Broband) Yinger and a granddaughter of Johann Paul Jünger\Yinger.  Henry G. Keister was the grandson of a Germanic immigrant also named Henry Keister who was born in Einbeck, Hannover (Niedersachsen), Germany according to genealogies I have seen on this family.

Unfortunately, I have not been able to find any information about the children born to Henry G. Keister and Catherine Yinger.  They are buried in the Church of God cemetery in Yocumtown, Newberry Township, York County, Pennsylvania.  Their graves are directly behind Catherine’s two unmarried sisters Nancy and Sarah (Sallie) Yinger.  No children of Henry G. and Catherine (Yinger) Keister are buried in this cemetery that I have detected.
